e|motion group repositions itself

The „e|motion group“ organizes two new tennis tournaments in Berlina and Mallorca and will also focus more on consulting in the future.

In front of international guests the “e|motion group” presented its plans for the future during an exclusive event on the centercourt of the Erste Bank Open in Vienna. The two CEOs Herwig Straka and Edwin Weindorfer will put their focus in the future also on consulting, besides organizing two new grass court tournaments in Berlin (women) and Mallorca (men).

Straka and Weindorfer are already organizing the ATP 500 event in Vienna (Erste Bank Open), as well as the grass court events in Stuttgart (MercedesCup) and Mallorca (Mallorca Championships). With their latest coup the e|motion group brings back the prestigious WTA tournament in Berlin on the site of the LTTC Rot-Weiß Berlin after a 12-year hiatus. The Grass Court Championships Berlin will be held from 13-21 June 2020 with the former German top player Barbara Rittner as new tournament director. It is a sign of our close and longtime relationship with the “All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club”, who yearly organizes Wimbledon, the biggest and most important tennis tournament of the year, that the e|motion group organizes no less than three grass court tournaments now.

As consultant, e|motionsuppoorts companies in selecting and using the ideal means of marketing and sponsoring for their brands in all areas of entertainment, especially in sports. Alongside the two already existing pillars “sports” and “events” the focus will also be put on consulting in the future. For the past 25 years, the e|motion group has been cooperating with personalities from business, entertainment and sports in all relevant questions. Current and former sport stars like Dominic Thiem, Thomas Muster and Tommy Haas, but also ski star turned TV celebrity Armin Assinger count on the professionalism and great experience of the e|motion group. Besides tennis and skiing, athletes from hockey, football and golf also make up the portfolio of the company.

Furthermore, the company’s new website (www.emotiongroup.com) has been presented. Austria’s tennis hero Dominic Thiem launched the website himself.
